Please continue to uplift JS in your prayers as she continues to heal after having a blood clot in her neck. She is a delightful young lady. She will remain on medication for five more weeks and then should be recovered. Please uplift her body to be given the strength it needs each day to completely heal from her battle regarding her health. Please uplift her parents and family for strength and rest as well.

Please uplift a child, "M.T." in your prayers. M.T. has played ball with my daughter since they were 8. She is one spitfire ball of determination that we fell in love with the first practice we met her. She had a tumor on her pancreas that was removed along with her spleen and several lymph nodes. The praise is that it was caught early and will not require chemo nor is there any expectation of re-occurrence. MT's surgery went very well but she has been battling the pain. The doctors and nurses have been trying to figure out how best to manage this pain. Please pray for wisdom and discernment on what to use to manage the pain. We all know the power of prayer and lots of folks are praying for M.T. and I'd like to ask each of you to uplift her in prayer for relief from this pain, against any infection that may try to come against her, for complete healing. M.T. is a 14 year old athlete. She has been in great condition and was looking forward to focusing on her basketball conditioning and upcoming season. This has put a bump in the road for basketball but I know she will be back next year stronger and better than ever. Please remember her and her family for a double measure of rest through the next few weeks.

As I walk through my home tonight, I can't help but uplift Shirley in prayer and uplift my heart of gratitude for his commitment along with my brother in law to help my hubby build this home we live in 17 years ago. Every evening and every weekend, they would meet Rod here to help build a house so that we could have a home to raise a family in. Shirley never asked for anything in return, but he sure did enjoy a big hug and good meal on the weekend. As I've wandered through our HOME tonight helping my girls get stuff ready for another day, I pause and fight back the tears, tears of love. As we have prayed for Shirley to be healed of his battle with fatty liver disease, it seems that healing will be taking place in the form of seeing his Savior face to face in the near future. None of us know when that date will be but unless Jesus performs a miracle, medically speaking, it won't be long but a few weeks. As difficult as it is to know a loved one's journey is drawing near, what a precious, loving sight it has been to witness him being surrounded daily by folks that he loves and loves him. Folks that he has made a difference in their lives. Shirley has always been a giving person with a big laugh and a bigger heart. He loves his Lord, his family, friends and music. I was told he was singing Amazing Grace yesterday before we visited. It's definitely a gift for so many to be able to express their love and what he means to each of them. Today, I ask that you pray for him to continue to be able to enjoy this time with family and friends and the pain to be manageable. I can definitely see peace all over his face and when Christ calls him to his heavenly home, I am confident one of the first things he will hear from his Lord is "Well done thy good and faithful servant". I also ask that you pray for his family to be granted daily strength to make it through each day and night with him. Let us give thanks that he knows Jesus as his Savior and is sharing that with everyone who visits.

Tina
Please pray for a woman named Tina. She lost her job and needs another, and also needs to find a place to live quickly – her landlord of 20 years is selling the house she lives in.

Friends of Stan
A friend of ours (and pastor) has suddenly had a significant amount of unexplained pain in his arms and hands - enough to be debilitating and prohibit him from completing daily functions.
He accepts that God can be glorified through his physical ailment, and has a great attitude about it, but the pain is significant. We are praying and asking for prayer for his doctors, that they will have the knowledge and wisdom to diagnose and hopefully treat the pain, but above all that God's will would be done in this situation.

We have a dear friend who is starting Home School today – Labor Day – with 3 of her children. She’s frazzled and technology isn’t working well. Pray for calmness and wisdom for her as she gets ‘in the groove’ this year with a daunting new role.

This may seem petty, but our resources are quite limited right now and we want to ask for prayer for the mechanics working on our car.
Our car suddenly developed a problem that has been difficult for 3 different mechanics to diagnose (ONE brake keeps locking up). No one can figure out the problem but the brakes have been completely redone 4 different times at a significant expense.
We’re sure that God knows the cause. Please pray for the mechanics to have the wisdom (and for me to have peace and patience) to figure it all out.

My second child (only daughter) is having trouble with her college roommate. The problems are causing health issues (asthma attacks due to heavy perfume). Please pray for Andrea and her roommate that they can peacefully resolve the problems or find alternate housing arrangements.

My Friend Emily
Pray for a friend named Emily. She lost her father earlier this year and just moved in to college for the first year. Moving away from her family carries a sense of adventure but also another sense of loss. Pray for both her and her family as they adjust to another major change this year.
