I keep coming close to signing the contract w/the 1st company, I have an uneasy feeling so I pray then something unethical pops up in the contract. Hello warriors. Please pray for me. My own prayers are not very effective right now because of the physical manifestations of a symptom of broken heart. I havent been in many relationships because of this fear of hurt and pain but I poured out my all into it without holding back emotionally because love that operates under self preservation or self seeking isnt true or pure. This is my second relationship and i am 38 years old. I was dating another Christian girl I met through an app for a few months and the other day she said a lot of what seemed like half truths to maybe lessen the blow. Pain of loss of her cat and also being really busy with work and how she felt like maybe right now wasnt the time for her to be in a relationship. She said she felt like God was telling her to end it and focus on Him. I have no problem with that. My prayer throughout this relationship was that it is Christ centered and i made a vow to God to court her as His daughter and kept things pure. I told her when we both started seeing one another exclusively that my prayer and hope for the relationship was that we bring honor and glory to God more through the relationship and together than we would as individuals separately. And now this, seemingly out of nowhere. Anyway I mentioned i sensed half truths because of other parts of the conversations we had after she dropped the news. I tried to see if there was anything I did or said and she said no and she thanked me for showing her that there are Godly men who can love selflessly and for being an example of Christ and His love in the relationship.
I tried to see if she just needed space and a break but she is INTJ personality and doesnt make decisions on a whim like that. Basically conversation spole of finality with no immediate plans to revisit it.
Found out today when I messages her she is also having a hard time as well.
My requests are:
1.please pray for her too, that God may bring guidance and healing.
2. God's will be done. She mentioned that if she is making a mistake then God would have a way of fixing and restoring things that are to have our names on it. Basically if we're meant to have it he would make it so. But I know there is also the element of free will and we can make mistakes. Anyway i dont want to get into a theological debate. I would personally love a restoration but ultimately let the Lord's will be done. May he have mercy and grace on me and also her. If He is so willing, may we be restored together because I do still agape love her to the best as a saved-by-grace person can.
3. My prayer is also that i receive healing from this physical manifestation of pain if heart break. I poured out my heart and all with no regard for self preservation because the agape love puts the other above the self. But right now the pain is very great. I do not want to numb it with substances. I dont want to take sleeping medication either. I am having trouble breathing. My heartbeat seems off. I couldnt sleep since last night, my body and mind feel fatigue but i cannot sleep due to the physical and emotional pain. I dropped about 6 pounds today, which is a lot within a span of hours because i was at 209 pounds at 14-16% bodyfat. Its possible i lost a lot of water weight as well as glycogen stores because i also feel dizzy and faint. I am constantly thirsty with a dry mouth no matter how much water I drink it feels like I am dehydrated.
4. I have made a vow to God to court her as His daughter and if there are any mistakes that I made in violation with that, may He forgive me and give me another opportunity should He be so merciful and willing.
