Agree and Join me in praying for my sons (Marcus and Shawn) to be delivered and set free from the use of illegal drugs. I’m praying that Shawn’s mental health will be restored. I'm praying for them to be set free from the spirit of addiction. I pray that the desire to use drugs, the thought of drugs, the need for drugs, and the craving for drugs be removed from them. Thank you all for praying for my son to find another job after being laid off. Actually the job that laid him off called him back and asked him to come back. So that is such a blessing. Thank you for your prayers and for God responding swiftly. But another issue has cropped up and it is yet another hurdle with the fact that he and his wife just had a baby a week ago and now his father who was letting them stay there to get financially stable…has decided he wants to sell his house and move in with someone and now they are left with this. His father says he will pay rent for them somewhere, but it is not certain he will keep his word or not let them down. They are very stressed as they have a 1 week old and now have to worry about where to live. Please pray for everything to work out for them. I have been helping as much as I can through out but I am changing careers and having to study and learn a new skill that I pray God will help me to become financially in a much better place to help them and others. So right now I feel helpless to help them. I myself am going through these transformations myself and I am hoping for a good outcome and trying very hard. I know God says to be anxious for nothing, I am trying but it’s so hard when I see my son going through this and I’m virtually helpless to pick up the slack and help him stabilize in this horrible economy. And better myself at the same time…this is all so stressful!

Just got off of streets. Facing officials who don't understand and often unknowingly discriminate against the poor. Have to go to town where officials lied against me in court (and where I've been assaulted) and am scared as they've discovered I attempted reporting them to the state. Please pray for my friend Michelle who is getting a divorce. Her husband is still living in the house, and they were shopping and going on trips together. I thought there was hope. The Holy Spirit has prompted me to call believers to prayer over the PERSECUTION that IS coming to every true believer; that we would respond the way Jesus taught us to respond: with LOVE, blessing, and doing good to our ENEMIES instead of returning evil for evil, shooting, bombing, killing, maiming, and destroying. I've seen a lack of faith in this area especially in the U.S.A, where we tend to trust in our own strength and be proud instead of humble, judging instead of giving mercy and grace.
My prayer is, "Lord Jesus, help us love as You first loved us! Help us be willing to leave/entrust the many believers' lives to You while we give ourselves to saving the ones who are lost! Help us be more passionate about saving the UNREborn than we are about saving the innocent unborn that are filling heaven, because there's more joy in heaven over one sick sinner who repents than for one hundred aborted babies who don't need to repent. Give us the faith that Stephen the martyr had as he followed Your example, Jesus, forgiving his murderers and seeking their blessing, not vengeance! Help us love our enemies with that supernatural, potent love that sticks like a dart in the heart of those who know they're unworthy of it, so that they might repent and be saved someday, as Saul was converted into a brand new creature by the unconditional love of God he was SHOWN over and over, as believers suffered like sheep and prayed for him in obedience to Your New Covenant commands!
I praise You, Jesus for the awesome, POTENT testimonies of those few true believers who have loved their enemies through the ages. Help us be wise and build on Your word, not foolish, disobedient so-called "Christians" who will be locked out of the marriage chamber!
I also pray that the songs You inspired me to write on this topic would encourage Your people to repent of hypocrisy and inspire them to obey You, not loving their lives even unto death! Help those who really need them find my songs: To Follow Christ, Jesus Said To Love Them, (Christians) We've Been Hypocrites, and For Love of Us.
